The sole motive which the idea of Science club (Junior and Senior wing) revolves around is to cultivate awareness with science, familiarization with scientific research and promoting the critical thinking among learners. The club activities include weekly meetings, lectures, and field trips which in turn foster the spirit of team work, conscious towards the logical assertion of arguments and inferring upon the concepts. The term “Mathematics” itself denotes the trait of sense-making and reasoning in everything we learn and apply. Active mathematical engagement and participation is promoted at the Mathematics Club through group interactions, organized quiz, etc. which improves the way of taking up the existing curriculum of mathematics at academic level. The purpose of the Hindi-Club is to enhance the creativity of our scholars. The Club allows scholars to create their own speeches, nukkad-natak, and plays, compose poetry and also write essays to express their thoughts and feelings. Nukkad-Natak is also an integral part of the Hindi Club where scholars are not only being made aware of important social issues but they are encouraged to take on the responsibility of spreading its awareness. The Club will also conduct activities like debates and extempore to develop thinking and analysing skills in our scholars. Academic year 2019-20. The Children's Club, founded in 1947 is situated in the heart of Chennai city. It is a registered society run by dedicated volunteers. The Club is a not-for-profit body which provides after-school leisure activities for children. With a host of existing activities and many more in the pipeline, the Children's Club is a favourite destination for children. Academic year 2019-20. Children’s Club was Inaugurated by Rev. Bro. தமிழுக்கு என்றும் அழிவில்லை. அழிவில்லாத தமிழிற்காக இளந்தமிழ்ச் செல்வங்களிடத்தில் மட்டுமின்றி இச்சமுதாயத்திலும் ஓர் அற்புதமாற்றம் பெறவே இந்த தமிழ்மன்றம். “தித்திக்கும் தேன்தமிழ்மொழி என்றும் வாழ வேண்டும்! எங்கும் வெல்ல வேண்டும்!”. அதற்கான முழுத்திறனையும் இளந்தமிழர்களிடத்தில் புதுப்பிக்கும் நம் கடமையே இது என்பதைவிட தமிழ்மேல் நாங்கள் கொண்டிருக்கும் பற்று எனக்கூறலாம். நம் முன்னோர் வாழ்ந்து, வழிபட்டு, வென்று விட்டுச்சென்ற அடையாளங்களைத் தேடி அதை மீட்டுருவாக்கும் எண்ணம் கொண்டுள்ளோம். நம் தாய்மொழியின் சிறப்புகளை கண்டறிந்து பொறியியல் துறையில் நம் தமிழ் திருமொழியின் பங்குகளை உணர்ந்து செயல்படுவோம். நம் முன்னோர்கள் தமிழை பெறுமைபடுத்திச்சென்றனர், அதை பேசுவதைகாட்டிலும் இனி தமிழுக்கு நம்மாலான புகழை பெற்றுத்தரும் செயலில் இறங்குவோம். 2019-2020 ஆம் ஆண்டிற்க்காண தமிழ் இலக்கிய மன்றம் நாள் 06-07-2019 விழா தலைமை திருமதி சத்தியா அவர்களால் இனிதே துவங்கியது. எழுபது மாணவ மாணவர்கள் தமிழ் இலக்கிய மன்றத்தில் மகிழ்ச்சியோடு இணைந்தனர்.
Music is the nourishment to the soul as it soothes the mind and quenches the thirst for peace with sheer purity. The mind apparently seeks some organized form of notes put together to spill the magic of true music and for that matter, Music Club at our school has been organized which is continually promoting the “road less taken” i.e. music. Dance fundamentally transforms images, feelings and ideas into sequence of movement in order to discover intrinsic abilities of children. Moving rhythmically to the music enhances motor skills and dance club at our school happens to be a platform catering all such opportunities to our learners. Academic year 2019-20.
